Getting to know you.

Hi, my name is Sammy. I'm from Nigeria. It is nice to meet you. :) 

You probably already knew that since my face and name is plastered all over this blog.

You probably also know that I have two beautiful daughters, a great wife and two giant dogs (one really dumb one and one really smart one). 

But this post is NOT about me. No, it's about you. Getting to know you. 

Please know that I'm not writing this because I didn't have anything to post today. I'm actually ahead of my writing so I have a ton of stuff I could post. In other words, this post is NOT a filler. 

I actually genuinely want to know more about YOU.

Because after all, you make this community possible and you make this blog great.

Seriously, you're my favorite part of this blog and without you guys and gals (yes, even you anonymous) and all your stories and all the encouraging emails you send and how flipping honest you always are, I would have quit this thingy-magig a long, long time ago. 

I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty darn proud of this community. In fact, sometimes I walk with a swagger when I interact with other bloggers who are way better writers than I am because I feel like our community would kick any community's butt hands down. 

I know, I know, it's not a competition. I'm working on that. :) 

Anyways, I just wanted to take this Friday to really get to know you a little better. 

All that to say, if you love this community and if Jesus has ever used this blog in a small way in your life, then please, give me an opportunity to know a little about you. PLEASE. I'd be honored.

I know it's random but I promise, I really do want to know. Plus it's just a start. If this gets a good response then maybe we could make a tradition out of this and keep taking it a notch higher by asking deeper questions to get to know each other better.
