How to change the world with a burrito Or the one post I hope everyone reads

Dear Zakuskans/Friends,
Last night was incredible. I’ve never been more tired from speaking. I got home and just fell on my living room floor light-headed and exhausted. I wanted to just crawl up in my wife’s embrace and ball my eyes out.
I was whooped!
But then I had a thought that slightly saddened but re-energized me...
“I didn’t even lose my voice”. So as tired as I was, I felt like I could have given a little more. I could have spoken a little louder for the voiceless.
I think that's the only logical posture to have If what I shared last night is true. We’ve got to try, try and die trying.
I won’t stat you to death but I’ll repeat the most compelling stat to me. Every 5 seconds a child on earth starves to death. Every 5 seconds.
1001
1002
1003
1004
1005
A child just literally took their last breathe from hunger. If that doesn’t make you sad/angry/furious/jacked up, I don’t know what will.
Here’s the 2nd most compelling stat to me:
$7 will provide a month's supply of food for 1 person.
It blows my mind how much difference we can make if we choose to act with little sacrifice. I don’t care who you are, if you’re reading this, you can spare $7 a month [skip a chipotle burrito, a movie or 2 mocha's a month] to save a life. I’m still waiting to meet that American who will convince me that's too steep a sacrifice.

As I laid on the floor praying pre-sermon last night, I felt like Jesus kept saying..
'Sammy it matters so much to me'.
I said 'Jesus I know' but he kept saying ‘You have NO idea’.
‘This matters to me Sammy. It matters so much, even if you only save 1’.
It matters.

I will skip a burrito to save an orphan
Question:
Last night I shared how best case scenario, I’ve only seen about 30% of Christians [exception of those already doing something else] choose to act when I share above stats. This baffles me. I just don’t get it. Help me understand.
Why do you think this is?
Also, so many of you stood up last night during the challenge... I wanna know...
What was God stirring in your heart? What are your dreams? How do you want to fight injustice? what do you see as the potential biggest obstacles in the way of you ‘going’ to the least of the least? What freaks you out? What made you mad/sad last night?
If you weren't there last night, still wanna hear from you too. Please answer above questions or just tell us...
What comes to mind when you read those stats? Why do you think most people don't care?
