#OccupyMyBlog.

So it's that time of the year again when you takeover my blog. 

Yes you. You take over the blog. You get to drive this bus. Who's excited? Pick me! Pick me! Pick me! Pick me! Pick me! 

Yea I'm pretty excited if you can't tell. I'm excited because when we did this last year you guys blew it out of the water. In fact, I'm pretty sure the #OccupyMyBlog week was the most interaction we've ever had on this blog.

It. Was. Incredible. 

But I'm pretty sure this year is going to be better because our community has grown since then and because well, I'm trusting God for more :-). So yea, let's go. 

Here's the idea if you missed it last year. 

Step 1:

I’ll suggest a random topic. This is not the same as a posting a 400-500 word blog post. Just a simple thought to spark some dialogue.

(example: So I was reading John 4 about how Jesus broke so many relational barriers with the Samaritan woman. What are some barriers you guys think we place in front of people today?)

Some days though, I'm gonna leave it completely blank. Open forumn. You decide the topic.

Step 2:

You guys respond to my question like you normally do, only difference is you’re also responding to each others comments. Encouraging each other. Praying and challenging each other.

My hope is in your interaction with each other, you provide the content for the blog in your comments.

I promise I’ll be back soon with more great stuff (God willing). You know I’ve always been committed to giving you guys my best. Right now I just need a break cause I'll be in Haiti for a few days :-).

You know, I've always said the best part of this blog is YOU. For real, you all are amazing and I can honestly say you've exceeded my expectations every time I've thrown a challenge at you. 

Last year I didn't think we could pull it off. I didn't think me being absent could result in actual growth but it did. So yea, I'm never betting against you guys. EVER. 

And yes I will try to update you about my Haiti trip but for now I need you all to dive in and #OccupyMyBlog. 

I know there are plenty of silent readers who love this blog. Well, this would be a great time for you to come out of the shadows eh? Come on, you know you want to :-). It's easy I promise.
