The one word blog.

What's your one word? 

For those of you not familiar with 'the one word blog', it's an exercise where you pick the one word that best describes the current season of your relationship with God. 

Me first. 

My current relationship with God in one honest word: 

Madness. 

Total, complete madness. No this has nothing to do with basketball. I'm just in that season of life where everything is CRAZY insane. I feel like I'm driving 100 miles an hour down the freeway in a snow storm while pulling a semi behind me with my Chevy Prizm. 

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Life is good. In fact, most of the busy is great busy, but sometimes good seasons can be severely overwhelming especially when you're not good at pausing to just enjoy Jesus. 

Last night I came home and silently hugged my wife for a while. The alternative was crawling up in a corner and crying for hours. Madness indeed. 

My previous words for the one word blog have been "Frustrating" and "Martha".
